The planet was supposed to be paradise. It's not.

Text Adventure Interactive Fiction Sci-Fi Survival Horror

About the Game

Avalon Station is a sci-fi text adventure in the spirit of Zork and classic interactive fiction. You wake from stasis on a damaged orbital station above a deceptively Earth-like planet. The crew is dead. The air is thin. Something hostile got aboard from the world below.

Explore 45+ rooms across a dying space station — from the stasis bay to the engineering deck, through depressurized cargo bays and out onto the hull itself. Manage your oxygen, avoid radiation, fight alien creatures, repair robots, analyze specimens, and find a way to send an SOS before the station's orbit decays. Every choice matters, and the clock is always ticking.

Features

Classic Parser Interface

Type natural commands like "go north", "take extinguisher", "read log", or "talk to med-bot". If you've played Zork, you'll feel right at home.

45+ Rooms to Explore

A sprawling orbital station with crew quarters, science labs, engineering decks, cargo bays, a garden dome, and exterior hull sections accessible via EVA spacewalk.

Alien Combat

Fight cat-sized chitinid creatures with improvised weapons. They're vulnerable to extreme cold — fire extinguishers and liquid nitrogen are your best friends.

Resource Management

Oxygen depletes in depressurized sections. Radiation accumulates near the reactor. HP drops in combat. Manage all three or die trying.

Environmental Traps

Set up coolant vents to flash-freeze entire sections of the station. Lure creatures in and let physics do the work. Multiple paths to every solution.

Multiple Endings

Send the SOS and escape with a specimen for the S rank. Just run for the courier ship for a B. Or die in a dozen creative ways. The station doesn't care.

The World of Avalon Station

An orbital station above a world that doesn't want you.
