EchoQuest v0.1–0.3: The First Steps
EchoQuest is live. It’s early, it’s rough, and there’s a long road ahead — but the core is in and playable.
v0.1.0 — Initial Launch (Dec 20)
The very first playable version. Map exploration, combat, XP, and leveling are all working. Both mobile and desktop are supported from day one.
v0.2.0 — Characters & Equipment (Dec 28)
- Character system with 3 starting classes: Warrior, Mage, and Rogue
- 12 equipment slots with full stat tracking
- Class-specific abilities with cooldowns
- Fog of war exploration
v0.3.0 — Server Authority & Cloud Saves (Jan 5)
- Server-authoritative combat for fair play
- Cloud saves so your progress is never lost
- Secure account authentication
Three versions in two weeks. The foundation is set — now it’s time to build on it.
